· A reservation is required for any vehicle that is present in one of these lots between 8:30 am and 12:00 pm, regardless of the time the vehicle arrived.

· Vehicles that arrive and depart prior to 8:30 am do not need a reservation. Guests who arrive in the early morning to uphill ski will be required to park in a designated area.

· Vehicles that arrive prior to 8:30 am and stay on site into the enforcement window of 8:30 am-12:00 pm must have a reservation.

· Vehicles that arrive after 12:00 pm do not need a reservation.

Is there a carpool discount for RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations will be free for cars with four or more occupants (must be verified). Vehicles with four or more occupants will be verified on arrival and MUST park in the First Time Lot.

Is free parking available?

Yes. After 12:00 pm, all parking will be free and no RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation will be required.

What if I am driving a rental vehicle and don’t have my plate information yet?

Accepted Answer

When you make your RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation, use your personal license plate number. When you receive your rental car, log in to your account and change your license plate number to match your rental car plates.

My RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation is from 8:30 am-12:00 pm. Do I need to leave my parking space by 12:00 pm?

Accepted Answer

No. Once you have made a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation, a parking space will be available for you as long as you arrive before 12:00 pm. You are welcome to stay as long as you would like on that day; however, NO overnight parking is permitted. After 12:00 pm, all remaining spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

No.  As long as RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations are still available on a given day, you can make your reservation up to the time you arrive at the Mountain Village base area.

Each account, including Mountain Village Parking Garage season parking permit holders, may have a rolling maximum of 5 future RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations at any one time.

You can make a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation online for multiple days, any time, 24/7. Each account, including Mountain Village Parking Garage season parking permit holders, may have a maximum of 5 future RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations at any one time.

What if RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations are sold out for the day I want?

Check back frequently:
Canceled reservations will be added back into the daily reservation pool.
 A limited number of spaces are reserved to account for heavy snowfall or other conditions that may reduce our parking capacity.

Parking is also available in the Canyons Village base area, Park City High School (on weekends and holidays) and High Valley Transit Park-n-Ride locations, such as Kimball Junction, Jeremy Ranch, Richardson and Ecker Hill, all of which offer free, convenient transportation to both base areas.

Park City's free bus system is a convenient way to access the mountain, too, stopping right at the base of the resort.

How do I cancel my RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations made before 8:00 am MST on the day of the reservation date are eligible for a full refund. Reservations can be cancelled by logging into your account on the RESERVE 'N SKI portal to manage your reservations.

What happens if I make a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation and no-show?

Accepted Answer

If you no longer plan to use your reservation, please cancel by 8:00 am on the day of your planned arrival. Failure to cancel your RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation may result in a $125 violation and potential loss of ski pass privileges.

Please note that if you are ill or have an emergency, send us an email so you do not need to make the trip.

We reserve the right to restrict anyone's ability to make future reservations if the reservation system is being abused or manipulated in any way, or if our staff or guests are being treated disrespectfully.

Does my RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation guarantee a specific spot?

No. When you arrive to the Mountain Village base area, you will be guided by our Parking Ambassadors to park in a way that maximizes our parking area and provides easy flow of arrivals. Carpool vehicles with 4+ occupants (must be verified on arrival) or Ski Utah and Gold and Silver Pass holders MUST park in the First Time Lot. If I am staying at a hotel or condo in Park City Mountain Village, will I need a RESERVE N SKI parking reservation?

Accepted Answer

If you are planning for any vehicle that is parked in any of the surface parking lots — Main, First Time or Silver King —at Park City Mountain Village, a RESERVE N SKI reservation is required between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm, seven days a week. Please work directly with your hotel or lodging property and they will advise.

Please remember that overnight parking is NOT available. Contact your hotel or lodging property for overnight parking options.

Are RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations needed overnight?

Accepted Answer

RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations are not required after 12:00 pm and before 8:30 am the following day. However, we do require vehicles to vacate surface lots overnight to accommodate snow clearing and other operational needs. Violators are subject to violations fees or towing at owner's expense.

Please remember that overnight parking is NOT available. Contact your hotel or lodging property for overnight parking options.

If I am uphill skiing outside resort operating hours, do I need a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation?

For our local uphill crowd, RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations are not required for vehicles that arrive in the early morning and depart prior to 8:20 am. Guests who arrive in the early morning to uphill ski will be required to park in First-Time Lot, where signage indicates.

What time do Uphill skiers need to leave the parking lot by?

All Uphillers must be at their vehicle and out of the lot by 8:00 am, unless they have a valid reservation for that day.

A RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation is not required for vehicles that arrive, park and depart prior to 8:00 am. For vehicles that will remain parked after 8:00 am, a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation is required.

Yes. Those who have a lesson with the Park City Ski and Snowboard School are still required to make a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation. Any vehicle that will be parked in Main, First Time, or Silver King parking lot between 8:30 am and 12:00 pm – regardless of arrival time – will need a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation.

I have an ADA/accessible license plate or placard. Do I need to make a parking reservation?

Yes. There will be an option to reserve an ADA spot for free, subject to verification of ADA plates or hang tag.

I have an electric vehicle and would like to charge while I park in the garage. Do I need to make a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation is required if you plan to charge your electric vehicle. All vehicles will need a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation at all times to park in the Mountain Village garage.

If I park without a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation in Main, First Time or Silver King, how much will it cost?

Parking without a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation will result in a $250 fee with a $125 discount if paid within 10 days. Repeat offenders will be subject to escalating penalties, including towing at the vehicle owner’s expense.
