parking updates for 2023/24
For the 2023/24 winter season, the parking experience at Mountain Village base areas will remain largely the same as the 2022/23 winter season. The Mountain Village base area will operate under the RESERVE N SKI parking reservation system with elements of paid parking, free parking, and carpooling and transit incentives.
Our goal is to provide an improved arrival experience, help alleviate congestion at our Mountain Village base area and in adjacent neighborhoods, and give guests a variety of options to access the mountain.
Make your parking reservations starting November 8!

Reservations are available to book starting November 8, 2023. Advance reservations are required from Dec 9 through April 1, seven days a week in the Mountain Village base area until 1:00 pm and can be made online. After 1:00 pm, all parking will be free and no reservations will be required.

The fee for paid reservations is $26.65 per vehicle per day in surface lots, beginning December 15 through April 1. Price includes all service fees.

Parking reservations are not required early- and late-season in Main, First Time and Silver King surface lots. Parking reservations are required from Dec 9 – April 1.

Free parking is still available at the Canyons Village base area, Park City High School (on weekends and holidays) and Park-n-Ride locations like Richardson Flat and Ecker Hill.

RESERVE N SKI Parking reservation requirements
When and where are RESERVE N SKI parking reservations are required?
RESERVE N SKI parking reservations are required seven days a week from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm in all three surface lots at Park City Mountain Village — Main, First Time and Silver King from December 9 through April 1, and at Mountain Village Garage, opening day through closing day. Please note a RESERVE N SKI parking reservation is required for any vehicle that is present in one of these lots between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm, regardless of the time the vehicle arrived.
When are RESERVE N SKI parking reservations not required?

Seven days a week AFTER 1:00 pm

Arriving and departing prior to 8:30 am

Guests who arrive in the early morning to uphill ski will be required to park in a designated area. Vehicles that will remain in lots past 8:30 am must have a reservation.
What if RESERVE N SKI parking reservations are sold out for the day I want?

Parking is also available in the Canyons Village base area, Park City High School (on weekends and holidays) and High Valley Transit Park-n-Ride locations, such as Kimball Junction, Jeremy Ranch, Richardson and Ecker Hill, all of which offer free, convenient transportation to both base areas.

Park City's free bus system is a convenient way to access the mountain too, stopping right at the base of the resort.

RESERVE N SKI parking reservations are verified by your license plate. If you are renting a vehicle, please follow these steps:

When you make your reservation, use your personal license plate number.

When you receive your rental car, log in to your account and change your license plate number to match your rental car plates.

You may also print and display your reservation on your dashboard to avoid a violation.

RESERVE N SKI Parking rules and regulations

A reservation is required for any vehicle that is present in one of the surface lots listed above seven days a week, December 9 until April 1 and Mountain Village Garage, opening day until closing day, between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm, regardless of the time the vehicle arrived.

To secure your reserved parking spot, you must arrive and park before 1:00 pm on the day of your reservation. You are welcome to stay as long as you would like on that day.

Vehicles parked without a RESERVE N SKI parking reservation in one of the lots listed above will receive a parking violation.

Cancellations can be made online until 8:00 am the day of your parking reservation and are eligible for refunds.

Failure to cancel your RESERVE N SKI parking reservation may result in a $125 fine.

Park at Park City Mountain reserves the right to restrict anyone's ability to make future reservations if the reservation system is being abused or manipulated in any way, or if our staff or guests are being treated disrespectfully.
