parking updates for 2025/26

For the 2025/26 winter season, the parking experience at both the Mountain Village and Canyons Village base areas will remain largely the same as previous winter seasons. The Mountain Village base area will operate under a reservation system with elements of paid parking, free parking, and carpooling and transit incentives. Our goal is to provide an improved arrival experience, help alleviate congestion at our Mountain Village base area and in adjacent neighborhoods and give guests a variety of options to access the mountain.

2025/26 reserve 'n ski parking reservation details

  • RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations are required starting November 21, 2025. From November 21 until December 4 reservations will be free but are still required.

  • Paid reservations are required starting on December 5, 2025. Advanced reservations are required seven days a week for vehicles that are present in Main, First Time or Silver King parking lots between 8:30 am and 12:00 pm.

  • After 12:00 pm, all surface parking is free and no reservations are required.

  • Reservations are free for cars with four or more occupants at all times.

    • Carpool reservations MUST park in the First Time Surface lot​

  • The Mountain Village Parking Garage remains paid parking with reservations required every day. Reservations are available 72 hours in advance. 

  • Text PARK to 435-244-7169 to opt in to receive text alerts about parking at Park City Mountain. 

RESERVE 'N SKI Parking reservation requirements

When and where are RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations are required?

 

RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations are required seven days a week from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm in all three surface lots at Park City Mountain Village — Main, First Time and Silver King start November 21, 2025, and at Mountain Village Garage, opening day through closing day. Please note a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation is required for any vehicle that is present in one of these lots between 8:30 am and 12:00 pm, regardless of the time the vehicle arrived.

 

When are RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations not required?

 

  • Seven days a week AFTER 12:00 pm

  • Arriving and departing prior to 8:30 am

  • Guests who arrive in the early morning to uphill ski will be required to park in a designated area. Vehicles that will remain in lots past 8:30 am must have a reservation.

What if RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations are sold out for the day I want?

  • Parking is also available in the Canyons Village base area, Park City High School (on weekends and holidays) and High Valley Transit Park-n-Ride locations, such as Kimball Junction, Jeremy Ranch, Richardson and Ecker Hill, all of which offer free, convenient transportation to both base areas.

  • Park City's free bus system is a convenient way to access the mountain too, stopping right at the base of the resort.

RESERVE 'N SKI Parking reservation details

RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations are now available for the 2025/26 season.

  • Reservations are required for surface lots starting November 21, 2025, seven days a week until 12:00 pm

    • Paid reservations for surface lots are required starting December 5

  • Paid reservations for Mountain Village Garage are required opening day through closing day

  • RESERVE N SKI parking reservations can only be made online

 

Surface Lots - Main, First Time and Silver King 

  • Surface parking reservations are FREE for carpools​

    • Carpool 4+ reservations (must be verified) MUST park in the First Time Surface lot​​​​

  • *Early season parking reservations, November 21 through December 4 are FREE! ​​​​

  • Paid reservations required starting December 5

    • Rate - $29 (vehicles with three or fewer occupants)​

Mountain Village Garage​​

  • Garage cancellations can be made online until 8:00 am the day of your reservation for a full refund.

  • Paid reservations required opening day through closing day

    • Rate - $50 (vehicles with three or fewer occupants)​

​​FREE Parking

  • Available at the Canyons Village base area, Park City High School (on weekends and holidays), and High Valley Transit Park-n-Ride locations, such as Kimball Junction, Jeremy Ranch, Richardson and Ecker Hill.

RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservations are verified by your license plate. If you are renting a vehicle, please follow these steps:

  • When you make your reservation, use your personal license plate number.

  • When you receive your rental car, log in to your account and change your license plate number to match your rental car plates. ​

Rates

RESERVE 'N SKI Parking rules and regulations

  • A reservation is required for any vehicle that is present in one of the surface lots listed above seven days a week, starting November 21, 2025 until closing day, between 8:30 am and 12:00 pm, regardless of the time the vehicle arrived.

  • To secure your reserved parking spot, you must arrive and park before 12:00 pm on the day of your reservation. You are welcome to stay as long as you would like on that day; however, NO overnight parking is permitted.

  • Vehicles parked without a RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation in one of the lots listed above will receive a parking violation.

  • Cancellations can be made online until 8:00 am the day of your parking reservation and are eligible for refunds.

  • Failure to cancel your RESERVE 'N SKI parking reservation may result in a $125 violation.

  • Park at Park City Mountain reserves the right to restrict anyone's ability to make future reservations if the reservation system is being abused or manipulated in any way, or if our staff or guests are being treated disrespectfully.
